The Dreams and Wishes charity organised a tea party for their children yesterday, hosted by The Duchess of Cornwall at the home she shares with Prince Charles. The tea party, held at a converted barn on the couple’s Llwynywermod estate also included many of the charity’s ambassadors including our very own Managing Director Marc Eckley.
As well as being treated to a performance of Disney songs from Carmarthen Youth Opera, those attending the bash were also given a special gift – a Welsh Guard teddy bear – each from the Duchess.
One of the lucky few who got to attend the party was Jack Gow, the young boy who, thanks to the fullcircle Foundation, had a special tree house built in his back garden. Speaking to the Daily Mail, his mother Sylvie said ‘It meant a great deal especially because he had just a relapse at that point, the tree house is on 7ft stilts and he loves the view out across the sea”
