Our Work

Dining with The Duchess
In June of 2013 the Dreams and Wishes charity organised a tea party for their children, hosted by The Duchess of Cornwall at the home she shares with Prince Charles. The tea party, held at a converted barn on the couple's Llwynywermod estate also included many of the charity’s ambassadors including our Foundation founder Marc Eckley. As well as being treated to a performance of Disney songs from Carmarthen Youth Opera, those attending the bash were also given a special gift - a Welsh Guard teddy bear - each from the Duchess.

Fullcircle Santa Clause
Fullcircle’s very own Santa Clause made an appearance at the Children’s Hospital of Wales, Cardiff to deliver presents to the children on Space Ward. Marc Eckley, Managing director of Fullcircle Facilities Management, Veteran Paralympian John Harris and Elizabeth Evans, Marc’s Personal Assistant took time out in the lead up to Christmas to ensure that all the Children had a present to open.

Phoebe's Story
Phoebe is an amazing 10 year old girl, who has been battling serious illness since she was aged just 8. Fullcircle's Marc Eckley heard of Phoebe's plight through Dreams and Wishes and decided that the Fullcircle Foundation should renovate her garden shed into a playhouse.

Since we completed the renovation, Phoebe’s mum has sent Dreams and Wishes this fantastic letter about Phoebe’s journey
The Fullcircle Foundation has recently been working hard to build 10 year old Phoebe Taylor a Playhouse fit for a princess. Phoebe, from Llandough, always wanted her own space to invite her friends over for tea parties and when the Fullcircle Foundation heard that the playhouse she’d been built wasn’t up to scratch, we sent a team of builders to refurbish and redesign her ‘tea-party pad’.

Jack's Story
Having recently embarked upon several charitable projects, and being in the process of setting up their own children’s foundation, Marc Eckley, Managing Director of Fullcircle Facilities Management, and John Harris, public speaker and former Paralympian, visited hospitals across Wales to give Easter gifts to children suffering with illnesses and to give support to their families.

During their visits, Marc and John came across a young boy by the name of Jack. The two chatted to Jack about his hopes and desires and discovered that his ultimate wish was to be able to have adventures in his very own tree house: a ‘den’ built in his garden so he could play, learn and get close to nature all at the same time.

George's Story
Sixteen year old George suffers from cerebral palsy and is therefore confined to his wheelchair. Due to the severity of his condition he is partially sighted and cannot speak, not only this, but he is also unable to push his own chair or manipulate an electric chair. We were approached about fundraising to source George a new battery pack, which would allow him to self control his wheelchair with a remote for up to 10 miles. Marc and John paid the family a visit and surprised them with a brand new battery pack for his chair, which has given George the mobility he wished for. Ex-Paralympian John Harris, who has been confined to a wheelchair for 50 years, was especially touched by George’s plight “It’s unfortunate that people like George find themselves having to pay so much for their mobility so it was a pleasure finally seeing him being able to move around unassisted“.

Alex's Story
After a long period in hospital and suffering the trauma of losing a leg to his condition, fourteen year old Alex’s only wish was to return to school and spend time with his friends. Like most youngsters his age, he also wanted to get his hands on the latest iPhone 5 and so, having heard about his brave fight against his condition, Fullcircle Foundation’s Marc Eckley and John Harris met up with Alex to present him with just that.
Unfortunately, Alex lost his battle with his disease in June of 2013 but he has made a lasting impression on all of us at the Fullcircle Foundation.

Iestyn’s Story
By Christmas 2012, brave Iestyn Middle had already suffered more in his 8 years of life than most of us will ever have to. Having received brain surgery to rid him of two tumours as well as being diagnosed with Meningitis; Iestyn hit the headlines when his Christmas gifts were stolen from under his tree just a few days before Christmas day. Upon hearing of his tragic story, Fullcircle Foundation founder Marc Eckley decided to step in and help the family by giving Iestyn the Christmas he deserved. The Foundation jumped into action by painting and decorating his room in a Batman theme; Iestyn’s favorite superhero. Seeing Iestyn’s delight on Christmas day upon seeing his new room was enough to inspire Marc to set up the Fullcircle Foundation and go on to help more seriously ill children
