It is important for a venue such as this to keep itself innovative and to offer as many services to keep attendance numbers growing and increase the buildings efficient usage. An idea arose from the Museum Director, Christopher Dale MIH, to adapt the military museum into a meeting room that can be used, not only for internal meetings, but also to hire out for corporate events.
The room required sufficient lighting to be modified into a meeting room. Mr Dale approached Fullcircle Total Facilities Management with an urgent need to design and install a new lighting setup.
After visiting the museum, Fullcircle’s electrical department completed the installation of 4nr LED 600 x 600 panel lights. Within the turnaround of one day, the room was transformed from a dark and dingy space into a bright and illuminated exhibition and meeting area.
“The lighting installed does not just create the atmosphere required by the museum, but it is also energy and cost efficient”, explains Ian Cairns, Electrical Contracts Manager for Fullcircle.
Mr Dale was delighted with the result; “the quality of the lighting is just right for this type of venue, and Fullcircle were very professional in the way the installation was carried out. It was crisp, clean and there was no disruption to the running of the museum.” referred Mr Dale.
