St Patricks's School before & after

St Patrick’s school play area had become neglected. The area was full of old pieces of bark and mud and it was slowly turning into a health and safety hazard for the children.

Fullcircle came to the rescue advising to remove the old bark and soil, reseed the cleared area and replace with rubber matting so that the children could use the area whatever the weather. The type of matting used allows the grass to grow up through and once at full growth the black matting will be hidden and the lawn mower will be able to drive over the area to keep it maintained. The ground around the benches has also been slightly raised to help with water drainage and prevent water logging.

This project was completed over the summer holidays and is now all ready to go for the children starting back to school. “At Fullcircle we pride ourselves in working closely with our clients, to work around their schedules and complete our work at times that best suit our clients. The St Patrick’s School project was completed in time for the start of the new term and I have no doubt the children have been getting lots of enjoyment out of it in their first week back” explains Marc Eckley, CEO of Fullcircle.
