The fullcircle’s security team have been busy of late. In May of this year we announced the successful procurement of the Trident Park’s gate house security contract for three years. The contract, worth £360,000, our security team responsibility over the major 50 acre site located between Cardiff Bay, the vibrant and successful regeneration of Cardiff’s docklands and the City centre. Trident Park comprises a number of existing warehouses and office buildings all of which, fullcircle’s Security team have the responsibility of protecting.
The challenge of securing such a site has been made more complicated recently due to the development of ‘Prosiect Gwyrdd’ (Green Project in English). ‘Prosiect Gwyrdd’ is a plan to create an incinerator which will deal with waste that cannot be recycled from Caerphilly, Cardiff, Monmouthshire, Newport and the Vale of Glamorgan. Supporters of the project say the incinerator could generate enough energy for around 50,000 homes however there has been strong opposition from the local community.
The backlash over the project has lead to increased risks for the security team at Trident Park. Protests have already taken place at Cardiff City Hall and our Security team are trained and prepared were they to see any such activity on the site itself. Keeping our clients’ premises safe as well as the occupants’ businesses is our security team’s priority. Even in situations like the potential threat of protesters, our Security Department is dedicated to providing the advice and security services required to give clients piece of mind. Hard work, expertise and the use of state-of-the-art technology means that Fullcircle Facilities Management and it’s fully S.I.A. licensed guards will guarantee protection for tenants and guest alike.
