For the first time in the UK, all three of the Armed Forces – the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force- are joining their training facilities together. The new Defence College of Technical Training is based at a former airbase, RAF Lyneham, in Wiltshire and once the new facilities are complete the site will comprise of living accommodation for more than 1,100 trainees.

Fullcircle Total Facilities Management, are a National FM company whose HQ is based in Cwmbran, South Wales, won the complete 3m mechanical and electrical contract from Kier & Balfour Beatty to sub-contract various projects.As the work on the Museum and Recreation Centre (with large bar, restaurant and cinema) comes to a close, Fullcircle have begun work on a state-of-the-art gymnasium – complete with a boxing ring as a centre piece –  which will hold future military intercontinental tournaments.

Electrical Contracts Manager, Neil Jenkins, said; “This is another milestone in Fullcircle’s ever-expanding portfolio.  We currently have over 30 full time engineers on site at Lyneham,alongside CAD designers and senior supervisors.This skilled resource pool is due to expand for phase three to ensure the highest quality mechanical & electricalpackage is delivered to specification and on time”.

Gary Smith, Business Development Manager, added; “FullCircle offer a vast variety of complete service solutions and are already looking ahead to some large mechanical and electrical projects in and around the UK.  Daryl Moss [Managing Director] and I are already in discussions surrounding similar works. Gary added; “all departments, from electrical, construction, heating, ventilation and air conditioning can work independentlyor, on a project like this, it gives opportunity for the departments to join forces. Even the ventilation ducting for the project has been manufactured at FullCircle’s fabrication unit – it’s great selling services for a company so self-sufficient.
