The Fullcircle Charity Champions have secured our latest major sponsor Alfred Bekker who has given us a massive generous donation. In searching for votes for our Mountain Warehouse Challenge, John found an old friend interested in helping out with his push up Kilimanjaro. That person was Carla Bekker, the owner of iconic company Alfred Bekker.
Alfred Bekker led the wheelchair accessible vehicle revolution and continues to lead the pack with their Wheelchair and Wheelchair Passenger solutions. Since 1975 the company have been providing disabled drivers with Hand Controls
and other vehicle adaptations providing wheelchair bound drivers with freedom on wheels. As an iconic brand in their industry, Alfred Bekker is recognised worldwide.
Charity ChampionJohn Harrishas a long history with the company; they even provided the hand controls for his Ford Mustang back in the day. John was a good friend of the company’s founder Alfred Bekker, the founder of the company who was a native ofHollandand was well known in the British Motor Industry before venturing into the disabled drivers’ world. John reminisced on his friendship with the company’s founder, saying “He was one of the most charismatic people I’ve ever met in my life and was a force to be recognised in terms of promoting independence for disabled people, I am honoured to have their support for our climb”
