As we ponder over a very mild autumn, we mustn’t become absent-minded of the winter months to come.  Scientists have predicted an arctic freeze and record low temperatures set to bring the country to a halt, bringing back memories of the cataclysmic winter of 2009/2010; where shortages of salt led to airports and public transport being drawn to a standstill as it was deemed too dangerous to travel and schools were closed creating chaos and havoc across the country.

Many businesses were heavily affected; with employees not being able to travel to work and parents having to stay at home to attend to their children.  Facilities, in many cases, were not safe as the lack of salt meant car parks and pathways couldn’t be gritted.

Fullcircle Total Facilities Management was prepared in advance for the Big Freeze that year, having a reserve of gritting salt at the ready.  Through the torturous weather the Fullcircle team continued to reach customers and keep their car parks and pathways gritted so that business could continue as usual.  Fullcircle remained loyal to their regular customers and ensured services were undisrupted by maintaining their premises.

This year, with forecasts of another big freeze, Fullcircle is urging companies to be prepared.   Book your winter gritting services with us now to keep your facilities safe for employees and customers throughout the winter months.  Marc Eckley CEO of Fullcircle states, “Being a business man myself I know how critical it is to keep your business running at all times, and that is why Fullcircle is once again thinking ahead”.
