The fullcircle’s cleaning team were in full swing as always this weekend, welcoming the ISPS Handa Wales Open to the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport. The popular event welcomes around 40,000 attendees to watch some of the world’s best golfing talent playing at the prestigious resort. The event, which took place from 29th of August to 1st September sees the Celtic Manor turned into a tented village with its bars and food outlets, exhibition stands, a big screen to watch the golf, Kids’ Zone including bouncy castle, trampolines and face painting and the ever-popular junior golf area.
The Celtic Manor already requires a lot of attention due to it’s size and the high standards the customers expect to see at a five-star resort. We’ve previously written about the additional staff numbers required to successfully take the contract for the Celtic Manor. The fully trained members of the Fullcircle cleaning team are provided with the most effective and modern equipment to ensure
their work is as meticulous as is possible. This isn’t the first major golf tournament they’ve dealt with, the team’s success at last years ISPS Handa Wales Open was one of the reasons we were chosen again this year as well as for the Celebrity Cup earlier this year. Our continued successes at the Manor serve as proof of the team’s ability to thrive in the face of pressure and our feedback has been positive.
Winner, Frenchman Gregory Bourdy said “It’s always a great pleasure for all the players to play this golf course and stay in this hotel. Walking down this fairway and onto this green, with this setting, is always an amazing experience and this is one of the best of my life.” A testament to the work our cleaning team does in the hotel.
